The interiors of the SUV have been shared with other Maruti Cars. Like the S-Cross, it features an all-black dashboard equipped with Suzuki's SmartPlay infotainment touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, and reverse parking sensors with camera, keyless entry with push button start and a multi-functional steering wheel with controls for audio and Bluetooth telephony. The vehicle will also get dual airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution) as standard safety features.
The new Maruti Vitara Brezza will be offered with two engine options- 1.3-litre MJD diesel and a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol. It would be interesting to see whether company will introduce 89bhp or 74bhp version of the compact SUV. Transmission options are likely to include a five-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic gearbox. The company might also introduce an AMT equipped variant of the SUV. The compact SUV will rival against the likes of the Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra TUV300, and is likely to be priced in the range of INR 6 lakh to INR 9 lakh.
