Problem of avarage in small segment

Basically both TATA and Mahindra petrol engines neither refinment nor performance and average.I think all indian manufacturer should be think on 3 cylinder turbo petrol engine for small segments.However missing petrol era like carburated Maruti 800 and first generation Martiz and Santro they showing such kind of pep and average I thing today no any petrol shows with resepective CC.Due to emission norms and efficiency enhancements now a days petrols engine not becomes too pathetic causing some buyers definitely adopted their diesel counterparts.
How to come out
1)1.2 ltr excise benifit should be increase say upto 1.5 ltr
2)More and more GDI and Turbocharged engines should be incorporated.
3)CNG/Petrol with hybrid technology.
